one year ago today....
I married the perfect husband. One year ago today, I exchanged words, promises, rings, and hearts with the man I love. It has been one of the best years of my life and I cannot wait for many more to come! Chris has brought me so much happiness and joy after a time I wasn't sure it was possible. And he has given me a beautiful baby girl and filled the role as step dad. We celebrated our anniversary by swapping presents first! I got Chris the samsung instinct, the phone he's been wanting for a while. His blackberry has basically just petered out on him. He has been glued to the thing since he opened it.=) as for tradition of paper...I also made him a beautiful vase with 365 pieces of blue paper, one for each day that we have been married. Each piece has a memory, a date, or a saying to remind him of our relationship. Topped off with a pretty ribbon around it! He can draw a piece of paper everyday for the next year to remind him how much I love him. as for me...he really outdid himself! He surprised me with a day at the spa! A much needed mommy break as he said! It was the works...full body massage, facial, scalp massage, spa pedicure, manicure, lunch, deep hair conditioning, haircut and style, and a make up refresher! And it was absolutely amazing!I felt wonderful when I stepped out that door..a new woman. We originally decided to have dinner at del friscos, one of our favorite steak places, but the day off...changed our minds and decided to cook at home and have a movie night in. More our style...and it was amazing. All in all. It has been a great year and an even better anniversary! I love you baby and can't wait for many more to come!

Passing the time with play....
Had to get an oil change, and the girls decided to pass there time play. Keagan is ticklish on her shoulders, and when Farren went to "rub" her shoulders, Keagan just died laughing! There was a slide in the office, so Farren took Keagan on a few wild rides down it. (Notice, her bow is falling out in the pics!) They are soooooo silly together!!
I love my girls!

Finally back in business.....
So, its not a good idea to let your 8 and 1/2 month old angel to play on the computer. Keagan loves loves loves to bang on the computer and somehow she managed to lock my touch keypad on my laptop. No keypad=No mouse. Ouch. Luckily, I managed to figure out how to navigate and unlock it after only about oh...... 6 days. (I didn't really even try for the first few.) Anywho, we are back in business.............woohooooooo!!!! Another busy week in our house. Lots of softball, and working, and getting ready for the races in Ennis this weekend, and diaper cakes, and truck swapping (getting rid of one of our trucks)......and football and our pots ofcourse. =)
********************
Farren's first game is going to be this saturday, so wish her luck! I will be sending lots your way baby girl! We are also in the process of getting her signed up for volleyball and basketball. She's getting prepped for 7th grade sports.
********************
Keaganbear is pulling up on the couch to a standing position! She is really growing so much and learning so quickly now! She has an appt coming up in two weeks for her 9 months, so we will know exactly how much shes grown!

Side note:
---Congratulations to one of my best friends Sharie, who recently got engaged
after 12 years!! Congrats girl, you deserve it!
---Congratulations to fellow blogger Mandy, who just recently found out she is
expecting her second miracle! Her first is a month older than Keagan!
Please keep these two in your thoughts and prayers!
Hope everyone is having a good week!
Some new pics of Keaganbear.......

Update...
So, lots going on in our world. We've been really busy so I haven't had a chance to load my recent pics! Farren's softball season started, and her first practice was last friday. After a good workout, we headed to the farm for the weekend. We went dove hunting and fishing all weekend, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We headed back early sunday, and spent sunday afternoon over at my moms house. We tried to go swimming, but couldn't bare the 76 degree weather. Brrrrr!! So, we headed inside and played dominos and watched the cowboys game! Go boys! We cooked some burgers and hot dogs and had a good ole time. Practice has been rained out everyday this week so far. But on a good note, we traded my car in and upgraded to a LandRover LR3!! I absolutely love it, I think I could live in this thing there is so much room! It is sooooooooooo much nicer than my old car. It was time for a change though, I had the other car for over 3 years. I think I will actually keep this one though. =) Anywho, car shopping was a two day process, partially because of the rain. But its done and over with, and I am excited. What a lucky girl? My husband has got to be the sweetest man to let me get this car, just wait till you see it. Ilove you soooo much baby!
Chris has been sick, so I having been playing doctor to my poor husband, I hate seeing him this way. He is normally so upbeat and on the go. He has been ready for bed at 5 oclock because he has been feeling so bad. Poor baby.=(
Keaganbear is scooting\crawling around still and getting on all fours trying to stand up. I seriously think she is going to just go straight to running!! She is soooo funny, she cracks me up! I love my girls soooo much.
I will put some pics up as soon as I get them downloaded.
Hope everyone is having a great week!!

************************************************ Another busy week has gone by, which just reminds me that my little booger is yet another week older. Goodness.....so, she is now saying "mama" and "dada" and "byebye"! Wow, thats alot of work for an 8 month old. She is also, getting on all fours and scooting her self around. Her newest thing is getting on her hands and feet trying to stand up. She may just skip the crawling thing altogether and go straight to walking. "We don't need to stinkin crawling mom, I'll just walk!" I can soooo picture it already! Also, Keaganbear now has 2 teeth!! My little booger will have a whole mouth full before you know. It just breaks my heart that she is slowly getting out of that gummy smile baby stage.
The rest of us are doing good too! Farren is starting her second week of school, and we are picking up one of her friends and dropping her off after school! She is loving the idea of having someone to ride with everyday. She is also a girlie girl, so I am hoping she will rub off on Farren a little bit. =) They are so funny, its funny to listen to there 6th grade gossip!! Its crazy some of the things they talk about.
We went to the farm this last weekend to go dove hunting for opening day. My loving husband bought me a new "purty" pink shotgun!! How sweet is he?? We had a awesome opening day!! We went out about 7:30 Monday morning and got our limit fairly quickly. The birds were flying all over us! It was a great first opening day for me! I love my husband a little more everyday!
Hope everyone has a great week!

So, we have started another year of school, and my big baby is in middle school this year! Yes, you read that right.=( So far, she is absolutely loving it! The best school she's been to yet, she told me. I can't believe how much she's grown....so, I thought I would post a couple pics of this week for everyone to see how beautiful she's growing up to be!

What a great weekend, and Freda....
A little update on us.....We had an awesome time at the farm, and an awesome time while chris was on vacation. What a great week, there is no better feeling than seeing your family enjoy life, thats what its all about. It melts my heart. We did get a HOG!! Wooohooo!! We were right on about them coming around at night time. We got a spotlight so we would be able to see them. Its in the country and pretty much pitch black without a light. The blacknight and wild hogs cannot be good. So Chris heading up there to park the tractor about 8:45 while I put Keagan to sleep. He is really impatient and decided he would just walk back and get me after he had the tractor parked where he wanted it. So, around 9:15 he comes back and after getting the little stinker asleep we decide to head up there around 9:30. We get outside and I say "Wheres the light?" Chris, "What light, we don't need one." Me, "Yes we do, I'm not walking up there in the dark, I'm scared." Chris, in a loving voice (yeah right) "Baby, quit being a baby, come on." Me, "No baby, I'm not walking up there without a light." Chris, "Fine you big wuss, I'll get the flashlight." So, after getting the light we make our way up to the field. About half way up there we are talking and I am running the flashlight in every direction worried that a wild hog or deer or coyote or something is going to attack me. And as Chris is making fun of me, we hear a HUUUUGGGGEEEEE hog snort that sounded right next to us!! Oh my god, freak out time! Chris, "Baby shine the light in that direction, shine the damn light!" I shine the light in every direction and do not immediately see anything, so we proceed to haul ass to the tractor. Luckily, Chris had a gun with him "just in case." Ha, good thing I brought a flashlight. I and he would have totally freaked. After we got on the tractor he admitted, "I'm glad you brought the light, the hair on my arms was standing up." So much for me being a baby. I was terrified though. So, anywho....after sitting on the tractor for about 20 minutes we decide to shine the spotlight. And we see one pig, woohooo....oh wait there is like 5 or 6 over there...WOW, this is awesome I'm thinking. Then chris says, "Babe, shine the light down a little bit." And low and behold right behind the watermelon patch there was a pack, a herd, whatever you call them of hogs!! At least 30 to 40 of them. HOLY CRAP!!! We couldn't see them earlier because they were hidden in the tall grass of the watermelon patch. I steady the light and chris takes aim. He asked if i wanted to shoot because I was a better shot.=) But i figured I'd let him have this glorious moment. "No babe, go ahead." Bam, he shoots, and like roaches, the hogs start to scatter. We wait a few minutes to allow the hog to die and then drive the tractor up to where he shot. I shine the light, and no pig. We grab the flashlight and start looking.....no pig. What?? Chris says, "I guess I missed," then i notice some blood on the ground. "Nope I don't think so," and point to the blood. He tracked the blood and out of nowhere the pigs jumps up off the ground out of the patch. Chris ran back to the tractor to get the gun to shoot him again, and lost his shoe in the mud where they were rooting. Ha! The pig stumbled about 15 feet and fell back down. Chris got Freda in the tractor and we head back. We estimated Freda to be about 100 pounds, not bad. Although there were bigger ones. Mission accomplished. This was probably our highlight. We went back out the next two nights so I could get one, but we didn't see a single hog. Guess we scared them away for a while. Oh well, it was so nice to get away. We had a great week at the farm. Farren had a fun weekend before school and Keagan just loves everything about the farm. Here a few pics from our weekend.....

Sorry for the double post but,......
I forgot the best news of all!
We are building a NEW house!! I can't wait! It should be done around January, so they say. Chris says it won't take that long. Its in the Lake Pointe division across from Boswell. Wooooohooooooooooo!!!!!
Oink oink...
Its been a busy week in Stuart land. Chris is on vacation this week, so we are trying to have as much fun as possible! And let me tell you, this is a much needed vaca from the 10 and 11 hour days hes been working. Plus, this will give much needed rest and rehabilitation from his recent hospital visit. So, on with the important stuff.....we went to the farm over the weekend for a few days. My in laws have some wild hogs roaming the land and eating all there yummy watermelons...boo. So, Mr. and Mrs. Outdoors ourselves decided we would kill us a hog yall. Does that make us a redneck? Anywho, with all the flippin rain we were there for two days and decided to head back. We decided that wrestling a 150 pound hog in the mud might not be in our best interest. =) So, we came back on Monday. Went to gamestop and bought a couple of games to keep us busy until they rain stops and we can get back to hog hunting. Tuesday, we went and saw two flicks. "Tropic Thunder" and "Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3d". Both were pretty good movies. By Wednesday, we beat our games and headed back to gamestop for two more. FUN!! We have really gotten into video games as a family! Its really funny, taking turns! Anyway, we are heading back to the farm today, so wish us some happy hog hunting! Oink Oink.....
Update: Keagan is up on all fours rocking back and forth! My little scooter should be crawling any day now! Wow, she is growing up sooooooo fast!!
Hope everyone is having a great week!

Ok guys, here we go. Here are some of the pictures from our deep sea fishing trip. If you ever get a chance to do something like this, I strongly suggest you do!! It was loads of fun! It is a little pricey, but worth the money. Just make sure you take some sea motion medicine to avoid getting sick, there is ALOT of shaking and moving. I think next year we are going to do either a shark or tuna and yellow fish trip!! I can't wait.

Sidenote: Keagan Jade said her first word!!! Oh how sweet it is. One word, two syllables. Can you guess what she said first??...................................
................................................................................
...................................................................................
MaMa!!
How exciting to hear you baby say mama for the first time! It is just as exciting as when Farren said it. We were waiting on daddy to get home and she started doing her babbling, but this time, words came out!!
Ma Ma Ma, Ba Ba Ba, Ma Ma Ma, Ba Ba Ba......
I'm not sure if the Ba is supposed to be bye bye or da da, but she seems to be crossing the two. I think it is referring to her daddy, because she only starts saying it when he gets home.
Anywho, we are so excited! Our little girl is growing up so fast! She is going to catch up with Farren before you know it! Tear.....=( I guess we will just have to have more!!
Have a great week!

Sorry guys...
Been a little out of the loop the last few days. We had to take Chris to the emergency room the other day, and have been focused on getting him better since. Please keep him in your thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery. I have some pictures to post from our recent trip, but they are on my other computer at work, so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get them posted. Thanks.
Hope everyone is having a great week.
