5 months or 11 years???

Wow, when do i quit counting in weeks?? Its been 22 weeks and it just seems crazy to me. I can't believe how much time has gone by. Speaking of time passing, my big baby girl, Farren Layne, is about to turn 11....yes, I know, take a moment...........11 years old!! Really?
Where has the time gone?

Well, its been a whirlwind of events the last couple of weeks in our household. We are trying to get prepared for Farren's birthday party, get the invitations ready to send out, decorations, and all the arrangements done. It seems like every year it has to be bigger and better, and a little more stressful on mom and the ol' pocket book. Anywho, Mommy has been sick....boo. Yes, sick. Or maybe just run down with allergies. I've been running fever, coughing, feeling achy, and not to mention that I haven't taken a breath out of both nostrils at the SAME time in a while. Mom can tough it out, right? Well, now my little Keaganbear is a sickling. I woke up yesterday to hear choking because she could not breathe out of her nose. Poor baby, *insert tear*. Thus far, we have been pretty lucky, she hasn't been sick at all in the first months. Well I called the doctor and they told me I could give her some benadryl for her cough and nose, it should dry her up. But when I realized she was also running fever and just not acting like her sweet little self, I decided to take her in. Well, she isn't missing any meals!! She now weighs 14 pounds 10 ounces!! Little chunker. Anyways, the doctor came in to examine her and decided that she has bronchulitis, and she may have asthma. Blah, the only thing the poor baby got from her momma was allergies and asthma. I feel terrible!! So, she now has to have breathing treatments every 6 hours. Also, she is a slight ear infection in both ears, not one, BOTH!!! I had alot of problems with Farren's ears, and I was really hoping this didn't filter down to Keagan. Wishful thinkin on my part I guess. We did decide to do a flu test while we were there to be on the safe side, and not only does the poor baby have bronchulitis, and a double ear infection, she has the stinking FLU! The doctor decided to give her a breathing treatment and a steriod shot while we were there. She seems to do ok with the breathing treatment, not so much with the steriod shot. We did purchase a breathing machine from the doctor and he provided us with the medicine to put in it. She will have to take an antibiotic and flu medicine for the next ten days. So, needless to say, we are at home. But after the steriod shot, you can already see a big improvement. So, wish us luck, I think we are already heading in the right direction!
On a lighter note, we had a great memorial day weekend! Went to a wedding, went swimming, ALOT, and daddy got a new tattoo. Happy Memorial Day to all!

And Happy 5 Months to my little stinker!!

Hope you guys enjoy our pictures for the last couple of weeks.

Holy Moly, its been 20 weeks already!!

So what a couple of weeks it has been. It has been full of shoes, headbands, and exciting events! Keagan got a couple new pairs of shoes this week, courtesy of her big sis, she got some VANS! Farren really wanted a pair of vans and has been wanting this one pair for a while, and when she was getting them, she noticed they had some Keagans size! They are by far, the cutest pair of shoes I think I have ever seen, and she looks like an absolute doll in them. We also got her some frilly shoes, they are dads favorite.....not.=) He absolutely hates them. Ha Ha....oh well. Anyways, since our little booger has no hair, Farren also found her some headbands, yes headbands for little babies! How flippin cute! Farren has really decided that its fun to shop for Keagan, I think its like dressing up a doll for her, any girlyness I can get from her, I will take. Anywho, Keagan is getting so big, she is already trying to sit up,(see the picture below), I think she is going to skip rolling over and go straight to sitting up. She can already do so for a few seconds. I think she is going to run before she walks at the pace she is going. She is so smart, just like her big sis. We went to the doctor this week for her 4 month check up, a little late i know, but her doctor was out of town. And she is a whopping 14 pounds 2 ounces, WHOA baby!! Shes a growing, mom must have super milk!! She was also 25 inches long, luckily I think she is going to get her height from her daddy! Poor booger also got shots and ran fever for two days from it. Poor thing, I felt sooooo bad for her and the only thing I could do was give her medicine and hold her. Although for being sick, she was still in the best of spirits, she is such a good baby!! Farren also had her track and field at school this week, she is doing soooo well. She placed second in the 50 yard dash, she is a quick little scooter!! And she placed third in her other two events. Go Farren, Go Farren, Go Farren, its almost your birthday!

Keagan is a gigglebox!!

So, our little munchkin has really started giggling! You need to go to the bottom of the page and pause the other music so you can hear her, but its so stinkin cute! Sorry for the view, I have to keep the camera where she can't see it, otherwise she focuses on it and gets totally distracted from what she was doing! Enjoy our little scooter!!
