Happy Graduation #1......

So, in the first of many, since they have decided to have a graduation for each grade, my youngster (not so young anymore) has graduated from the 5th grade!! How proud am I you ask? So proud of the little toot that we were happy to have a cake smashed in her face!! No really, I am very proud of Miss Farren Layne!! As she finished the year with the "Golden Excellence Award" for having straight A's all year!! She must have got her brains from her mama....hint hint. Thats right, my child is a genius, or as close as they come. We decided since she is in fact graduating from elementary school to middle school that we would have a little celebration with cake and ice cream for the little graduate. So, please take a moment and give my genius child an "air" pat on the back for job well done.

Honestly, I can't believe she is already done with elementary school. Its crazy how fast the time flies. I don't want to turn back time, but I would definitely would love to freeze it. I hate that my baby girl is getting so big on me and isn't much of a baby anymore. I guess they quit being babies on you when you can't pick them up and carry them anymore because they are close to the same size. Farren has been such an angel and blessing in our lives and we are thankful for everyday to see her grow!! She is even helping out with Keagan when she can. Its so cute when she forgets someone is watching the way she talks to her. Awwww....sisterly love....finally.
