Love my seeester!!!

With my sisters wedding day fast approaching, it was time for us to do the bridal shower! One of my favorite things to do is plan parties, an this one was no different. We rented out a party room at Oscars off of Denton Highway. This saved me the stress of having to make sure every crevice of my house was clean, and allowed me to focus solely on the shower. Her colors are lilac and a darker purple. And the shower was the same! I swear it looked like someone threw up purple in my car! I was very pleased with how everything turned out that I made, and came together. We had an awesome turn out and lots of games and prizes! It was a wonderful time with friends and family. I can NOT wait for the big day to get here, and could NOT be happier for my sister!!!

Fun Fun Fun!!

A couple of things...

Still recovering from my surgery, but definitely getting better. I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic I was on to make sure I didn't get an infection.  My lips broke out in blisters, and my skin broke out in a rash, making me skin feel like sandpaper when it started to scab over. YUCK!!! But luckily its going away. I had my 2 week check up yesterday and he said my body must heal itself quickly, because my knee looks more like 3-4 weeks out then two. I had been doing my exercises he gave me and said my extension for two weeks was great. I am now able to put weight on my foot and he said I can work myself off of the crutches over the next two weeks. Once i feel comfortable walking without crutches, i can loose the brace. So, I'm down to one crutch today! Saw pics of my knee pre surgery and he said they did a joint test after I fell asleep where they take pics and use for learning purposes for students. And he said my knee literally popped out of socket whenever he would bend it. Ouch! Anywho, I'm just glad to be on the mend. You never really realize how much you use\need a leg until you do not have one! =)

Also, our doggy added a 3 new faces to our household 3 weeks ago. They are pretty much some of the cutest little faces I have ever seen. =)

Momma's Surgery...

I've been lacking in the blog area. I had to have surgery on my knee and its a little on the difficult side to find the time between crutching around, work, my babies, my husband, and working on cakes. I tore my ACL a couple of years ago. But recently my knee collapsed some due to it, and starting causing some problems with my hip. So, my doctor suggested that it was time to get the knee fixed. They repaired my ACL and reconstructed it with cadaver tendons, scraped some arthritis and scar tissue out, and found  a couple tears in my meniscus that needed to be repaired. OUCH! Boy have i been in some pain. I am hoping that being a leg down doesn't hinder my life for to much longer. You never know how much you need 2 legs until you only have 1! Anyway, i'm feeling ok for now. I had an allergic reaction to one of the meds that made my lip blister up and my face break out. But, it seems to be getting better! Hopefully, i can get some pictures downloaded and on here soon. Hope everyone is doing well!

Happy Birthday, in memory of....

Today is one of the saddest\happiest days in our lives. Its hard to believe we now greive on a day that we used to celebrate as one of the best days of the year and used to bring so much happiness. Today, Mike, Farren's dad, would have been 34 years old. And god given, it would have been our 8 year anniversary. It saddens me to know that my daughter is in so much pain on this day and that she only got 8, almost 9 short years with him. That could never be long enough. He is forever in our hearts and in our thoughts. We try to talk about him often. And there are so many traits in her that are a spitting image of him. Its crazy how much she is like him without his influence being here in person. I miss and think of his family often on this day, and thank god that I still have a relationship with them. They will forever be the only people I think will understand the feelings that come with this day. I hope Mike understands how much he was loved, and how much is truly missed here on this earth. What I wouldn't give to be able to call him and have him make me laugh.

Keagans 4 year check up!



Can't believe my little stinker turned 4 already. I just realized that I never posted her check up info, so better late then never right? Anywho, she did amazing at the doctor, I was so proud of her. They had a Kinect in the waiting room, so she was able to play "Kinect Adventures" while we were waiting. Once back they weighed her in at 34 pounds and she was 39.5 inches tall. =) She is perfectly proportionate according to Dr. Yee. She did have to get 5 shots. =( But she took them like a champ and only shed a brief tear while they were giving them to her. Afterwards, she gladly took her sucker, (and one for bubba), and we were on our way. Later, she decided that she deserved Bubba's sucker since she several 'boo-boo's" on her legs. So, she had two suckers for the day. I still can't believe my little stinker has grown up so much!

Internet

AT&T came out yesterday and I think they finally have fixed our internet. For the last few months, it shows that we are connected but you can not actually get on the internet. They finally decided it was our router. They completely cancelled our service and set up new service with a new router and a new number. As of right now, its working. But we are still having issues being able to pick up the wifi on our phones or xbox. It has a really weak signal or does not show up at all. I am half ready to through all routers out the window and call it good. =)

But, the calmer side of me would like to download pictures from Keagan's party and I cannot upload them without internet. So, I will mess with again tonight and see what I can do. In the mean time, I will leave you with a picture of little buddy. =)

He would probably kill me if knew I was posting this, but its just too funny not to! Some of you know, Chris broke his heel a few months back. Well, this is the result of not being on or using that leg for nearly 2 months. One calf is mucho bigger then the other. =)

Happy Birthday to my stinker!

Can't believe my little munchkin is 4 years old! How fast the last 4 years have gone by. Keagan Jade, you are such a little sweetheart. Everything about you is sugar and spice, and everything nice. She is the best kiddo ever, always calm and polite. Loves loves loves to give away kisses, uses please and thank you constantly. Loves to tell you she loves you, loves hugs, kisses, hand shakes, and fist pumps! She loves her bubba and her sissy. She loves to snuggle and just hang out and watch movies. She loves baby dolls and and baby animals and taking car of them. She likes to wrap them in blankets and put them night night. She also thinks she is a princess, which she is. =) And loves to dress up all the time! She loves to play te party!

She is definitely my little angel baby! We took her to eat for birthday and then went to main event with the family. Main event now has these huge tvs that you can play fruit ninja on, and the kids love fruit ninja!! We had a Princess Tea Party this weekend for her party, it was so much fun! I need to download the pics, it turned out awesome!

New things...

We had a wonderful birthday celelbration at Edohana's. Although, a funny story from dinner. My little man decided it would be a nice birthday present to pull the fire alarm and put he whole restuarant in an uproar! The loud annoying sirens only went off for about 2-3 minutes before they were able to turn them off. I'm not sure why it is only about 3 foot from the floor????? Anywho, we went to Winstar the following night and came back with an extra $550.00, woohoo!!!!!

I love love love getting new things!! And these are the new things hubby got me for my birthday! I love them both. He sure knows his way to my heart. What girl doesn't love getting puses and shoes???

Love my little stinker....

Its hard to belive that in little over a week, my little princess is going to be 4 years old. I can't wait to have her party this year! We have decided to do a princess tea party this year, being that she loves playing 'tea' and thinks that she is a princess! Hopefully, it will be an event fit for a princess! Anyway, I took this picture of her yesterday morning and just fell in love all over again with her little face. So, I thought I would share!

Momma's Birthday....

I'm super excited to be getting older!!! LOL! I do however, love having my precious family to spend my birthday with. It is hard to imagine how I ever spent my time before having a family of 5! They keep my on my toes and keep me busy all day every day! Tonight, they are treating me to dinner Hibachi Style! Love love love this! If you have not tried it you definitely should. We usually go to Benihana, but have found this extremely similar and much closer place!

Daddy is also getting mommy a new purse. =) My fav! I haven't decided if I'm going with the Coach or Dooney, so I am going tomorrow to finalize my purchase since I am off for my birthday! Which means I have a 3 day weekend, woohoo!! I can't wait!!

Friday night, we are going with my friend, Jamie, to Winstar to do some birthday gambling! I am hoping we can bring home a "winner winner chicken dinner"!! Wish us luck!!

Fun Times!

Daddy has been home because of his broken heel, and he has been sending me pics of the babies throughout the day. He has really been enjoyoing taking them to the halloween store and trying on different masks and hats and what not. I thought I would share a couple of pictures of my sweet little guys. They are getting so big on me!

I have been so busy over the last year, that I literally have not had anytime to blog. So, I am making it my goal to keep this updated. I have felt lost with out keeping up with it. Not only can our family see it, but it keeps a running journal of our lives for me to look back on. So, I hope to get some updates and pics on here soon!
