So, Farren had her talent show this weekend!! Her and her friend Sydney did a little jig to the song "Beautiful Girls!" They were so cute and worked on the routine for three weeks themselves. I was very impressed by them to create there own little dance. They designed there own little outfits and looked adorable. Take a look at some of the pictures of there outfits. I have a video of the dance but I need to figure out a website to download it to. I'm so proud of her and a little saddened that this will be her last talent show, next year she will be in Wayside!! Wow, my little girl is growing up!! =)

Mommy and her angel baby!!
Keagan went on her first big outing, we went out to Joe's crabshack and took the our little scooter to see her first movie!! Which she absolutely loved!! Not really, she pretty much slept through the whole thing, her first movie was RAMBO!! It was really loud, and didn't seem to bother the little pumpkin in the least bit. I thought I would post a couple pic's of our day though, just for fun. Don't her and her daddy look alike!!

My little angel baby is getting so big!! She seems to amaze me on a daily basis, I love to just sit and stare at her angelic face!! She is smiling so much and her little neck is getting so strong. She can hold her head up for a few seconds now before having to put it back down. She is sleeping about 3 to 4 hours at night before she's ready to nurse again. Which means we are having about two nightly feedings, which I don't mind at all!! GOOD NEWS, I think Chris and I have figured out a way for me to stay home with her. At least for a few more weeks, if not a permanent thing!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the permanent thing, I love this little girl so much and love spending all my time with her. I would love to be able to stay with her full time!! And she must be getting bigger, she is finally starting to be able to wear some of her 0-3 month outfits, although the pants still seem to swallow her. Anyways, we have truly been blessed and she is such a sweet baby, her daddy is already ready to have another if they are going to be like her. =)
We'll see DADDY!!

Oh sweet life....
I just wanted to write a quick blog about both of my babys! I am amazed by the bond that i see developing between two sisters. After the hint of jealousy passed, Farren has really taken a liking to being big sis! Last night we went to pick up chris's brother's kids and Farren fed Keagan her first bottle! It was the cutest tghing i've ever seen. With all her grunts and moans, Farren was laughing the whole trip down there and just couldn't get enough. Chris drives like a natural maniac, and when i looked back to check on them, Farren was holding on to Keagan's head like a little mama to make sure it didn't bobble around!! How sweet!! I love it and I can't wait to see them as they get bigger and closer!! On a different note, we found out that Farren and Keagan will soon be having a little cousin to play with from Aunt Wendi and its going to be a GIRL! Yeah, I can't for her to be here. She is due the beginning of June, around Farren's birthday!

Keagan Jade is three weeks old!!
My little lovebug sleeping with her leg hiked up on the side....it looks comfortable doesn't it????
Keagan is getting so big!! She is the cutest little thing I have ever seen. She is smiling so much now and giggling in her sleep!! She is getting so strong and holding her head up so much, its all that milk mommy drank while she was pregnant. =) She is almost a month old!! Her newborn clothes are starting to fit her and hopefully she will be able to fit into her 0-3 months clothes soon! Then she will have a mucher bigger clothes selection which in turn = more pictures! A sidenote, she is not a big fan of the aspirator, aka the booger sucker. With the weather change and the drop in temperature she has had a bit of a stuffy nose. Farren and I got the booger sucker out last night to get a flapper out of her nose and that was the first real cry I have heard from her. She is such a good baby and very rarely makes a peep. We have definitely been blessed. She is my angel baby!!

Keagan Jade is 2 weeks old!!
I can't believe how quickly the first two weeks have already gone by. It makes me so sad to think I am two weeks closer to going back to work and leaving my angel baby! =( She is the most precious thing and we are so thrilled that she is here and ours!! Each day she amazes me with her little giggles, gas, and grins!! She is truly a gift from god!! Farren is getting adjusted really well to having a little sister, still a hint of jealousy, but she's coming around. After all, its hard not to, Keagan's so stinkin cute and she reminds me of Farren. She is pretty much the perfect baby, she barely makes a peep. She is already smiling and its so cute, its usually in her sleep and it makes me wonder what she could be dreaming about?? Keagan officially had her first diaper blowout. It came with a monster toot that woke both me and Chris up from our sleep. It was so cute but very nasty at the same time! Since babies lose weight, Keagan got down to 6 pounds 13 ounces from her original 7 pounds 8 ounces, my little munchkin. No worries though, she was back up to her birth weight by her 2 week check up!! Hopefully mommy's magic breastmilk will help her to pack on the pounds! Her umbilical cord came off at 11 days, so she has already had her first real bath!! Which, by the way, she is not very fond of. She is such a little bundle of joy and we are so thankful to have her in our lives!!

She's here!!
Our little girl is finally here and all four of us are doing great!! We went to the hospital Friday morning around noon to get checked in and ready to go. The whole time Chris is telling me he's not nervous and he's not going to get nervous....right. Surgery, a new baby, becoming a dad, seeing your baby for the first time, and seeing your wife on the operating table...nothing to be nervous about. We were scheduled for surgery at 2:15, but it got delayed by about 45 minutes. Around 2:00 I think is when Chris started to freak out, it was kind of cute! Anyway, they took me back first by myself to give me my spinal and put my cathedar in. On the second attempt, yes second, the first hit a vein, they got my spinal right. Very painful. And about 3:00 they brought Chris in to see me. His eyes are very wide and his hands were shaking with fear. But he did an awesome job talking to me and comforting me when they started cutting away. At 3:09, Dr. Hardie asked if Chris wanted to watch them take her out, so he stood up and that minute they pulled Keagan out. Dr. Hardie told me to look to my left and I saw my little girl for the first time. She let out a huge cry for the first time, where as Chris and I did too. It was golden, the best sound in the world. They quickly wisked her away to clean her up, but allowed Chris to take pictures of her. Then he was able to bring her over to me while they were sewing me up. We got our first good look at our little chunker!! She weighed 7 pounds 7 1\2 ounces and was 18 3\4 inches long!! Pretty big for being early. She did have a little trouble breathing, so she had to go to the Neonatal ICU for about an hour and half for observation because she was grunting. Normal for babies who are born a little early. But our little angel was brought back down and has been doing great ever since!! With a little persuasion we were able to go home on Sunday afternoon, there really isn't much they can do for you at that point but they still try to keep you. Thank god, every bone in Chris's body was hurting from the so called 'bed' he was getting to sleep on. She is definitely an angel and our family has been blessed. We are a complete foursome now!!
