Ear infection land....
Yuck....this is where we are living. So, for the last couple of weeks, Keagan has been running a low grade fever. Well, last week her top two baby molars broke through, so I thought maybe that was what was causing the fever. But the fever continued. Her bottom gums are really swollen too, so maybe that is causing it I think to myself. But, after finding some ball of waxy stuff in her ear, I decided to call the doctor fearing that she may have an ear infection. They tell if she doesn't have a fever over 101, then its probably her teeth. Great, her fever has not been over 101 at this point. Well, for the last week, I have been having a REALLY hard time getting her to sleep. And once she is asleep, she is waking up at 3 or 4 in the morning and just wants me to hold her. Every time I make the move to lay her down, she would scream bloody murder. Well, last night she was up till 11:30 and up from 3:30 to 6:00. Just not being herself. So....I talk to Chris and we decide to take her in today anyway, just to check. Well, low and behold we get to the doctor and she proceeds to tell me she has NASTY NASTY ear infection and asks how long this has been going on. I tell her I called last week about it and what the nurse told me, and she was infuriated. She obviously has an ear infection, but her fever was 97.5. Not over the magic 101 mark. Crazy people. Who made up the rule that you have to have a fever to have an ear infection???? Well, its not true. Anywho, so they gave her zithromax for the next five days. So, hopefully we are on the way to recovery and some SLEEP!! Hopefully.....

Good Times....
We had some skate time, sprinkler time that turned into mud time, some toenail painting time, and some hot dog time! We had a really good weekend and week and got lots of stuff done around the house. I still have a ways till the baby gets here, but for some reason I feel like I need to be ready now! So, Keagans room is definitely a work in progress. Its getting there though. We got the beds and dresser sanded down and painted all the same color and they look really good in her room! We ordered our bedding for the baby, and Keagan has taken a handful of naps and spent two nights in her toddler bed.
Anywho, Aunt Wendi came over to stay the night one night last week and we had skate night! Then on Friday it was soooo nice outside, we thought we would let the girls play outside in the sprinkler....well Keagan ended up making mud pie out of the ONE hole we have in our backyard without grass. =) It was too funny. We just let her play, and she loved it!! Farren had a volleyball game that they won, this is there 5th win in a row!! They are doing really really well!! And last but not least, Keagan got her first "mommy pedicure!" Mommy did her toes...it was so funny. She kept wanting to touch them, so I would put paint on one and then blow like crazy to try to help it dry!! They turned out cute. She just thought since I was doing mine she needed hers done too!!

23 weeks...
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.
Update: Still doing good on this end. I can tell my belly is growing more and more everyday. I'm starting to really look and feel pregnant. I'm feeling lots of kicking or punching now a days too. Chris hasn't got to feel yet, it seems everytime he tries, the little toot stops moving!! I have an appointment on May 8th, so we will know a little more then about our little stinker.
Farren has pictures and a volleyball game this morning so I will have to add a stomach picture later. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Still nothing...
Still no computer. And this is killing me. I hate not being able to do things or look at something when I want to. Apparently, the computer that we ordered is in high demand so with shipping time it is going to be 3-4 weeks before we receive it! Really??? Man...I thought about changing our order but was afraid it would just delay the process more, so, we wait. Its already been almost two weeks, so hopefully soon. Everyone is doing good on our end. Chris was sick, but he is finally starting to feel better. Thank goodness. And he is trying to quit smoking...go daddy go!! We cleaned out Keagan's closet, and bought her a new toddler bed and dresser. We have started getting her room ready for her and her little brother. It is starting to come together, and I'm really liking the way it looks. Farren is doing well. She has pictures and a game this saturday for volleyball. Anyways, just wanted to do a quick update. Hopefully, we will be up and running soon. =)

Dora the Explorer....
I just had to get some pictures of this up!! She is by no means wearing these on a regular basis, but hopefully she will be soon!! I bought these panties for her the other day, and we tried them out the other night. Are they and she just not the cutest thing ever?!?!?!?!?!?!?

She wants to play disc golf just like daddy!!
22 weeks....
Your baby's crown-to-rump length is approximately 7.6 inches and your growing baby weighs about 12.25 ounces now! Your uterus is about 2 cm above your bellybutton and you probably feel comfortably pregnant. Your growing tummy is not yet large enough to get in the way and you should still be able to bend over and sit without much trouble. You might be enjoying your pregnancy more than ever at this point if morning sickness was an issue in the early weeks. Your baby's body continues to grow and develop every day. The organ systems in your baby's body are becoming specialized for their particular functions. The fetal liver produces different enzymes than it will produce after delivery. The liver is responsible for breaking down billirubin, which is produced by the breaking down of blood cells. Because the life span of a fetal red blood cell is shorter than that of an adult, a fetus produces more billirubin than adults do. Billirubin passes from fetal blood to the placenta and then into your blood. Your liver helps get rid of fetal billirubin. A newborn baby that has high levels of billirubin may show signs of jaundice. Jaundiced babies have a yellowish tint to their eyes and skin and are often treated with phototherapy. Your baby's senses are developing daily. The fetus now has a full complement of neurons in the brain and is learning about her body and surroundings through touch. Touch is one of the first senses to mature and your baby may stroke its face or feel her arms and legs. Your blood volume has increased more to meet the demands of your pregnancy. Most of the increase is in the form of plasma, the liquid part of your blood. This has the ability to dilute your blood and give you physiological anemia, which occurs during pregnancy. The measure of blood dilution is called Hematocrit and the levels reach their lowest points this week. You should check with your doctor to make sure you are not developing more serious forms of anemia. Your baby now shows an extremely rapid brain growth (which lasts until five years after birth). The ovaries of female fetuses contain primitive egg cells, all of the eggs a woman will have for her entire life. The uterus of female fetuses is also fully formed.
Update: Things are still going good with the pregnancy still. I have been having some weird pelvic/pubic bone pain. Nothing like anything I have ever felt before. Sometimes, so bad I can barely walk. Nothing I can't handle though. Besides that, I am still so impressed at how different and smoother this pregnancy is going compared to my others, and I'm knocking on wood and keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way!! I can definitely tell that I am pregnant now and so can people. My belly is getting on out there. =) Our computer still hasn't come in, so I am still limited to my computer use. Hopefully it will be here soon. HOPEFULLY.

Computer hell....
So after purchasing two chargers for my laptop and getting back on track with using it, it appears it wasn't meant to be. As I rushed to answer the phone the other night, I sat my computer down on the couch....well, when I came back it had fallen off. Great, I'm thinking....thinking the worse was that it didn't save the blog I was working on. Oh hell no, I lifted to the computer up to see that the screen behind the glass was shattered. Not the actual screen, but behind it...where you view everything. Pink, blue, yellow, black...you name it was swirled across my whole screen. So, I give. It was not meant for me to have a laptop. I caved and have ordered a desktop computer from dell. Something sturdy that doesn't have to be moved. Arghhhhhh........ Oh well. It should be here in a few days. I think I will just take a break from the computer until then...=(

Easter Sunday....
Lots and lots of easter pictures! We had an egg coloring party the night before with my mom, stepdad, and sister. It was lots of fun!! The girls got there easter baskets and stuff easter morning and where ready for the day!! We had easter with chris's family at the farm...and the kids loved the hunt down there. Keagan's plastic eggs where filled with cheetos and she thought this was the coolest thing in the world! We spent easter with my family over at my grandma's house. We hid eggs for the kids, then the kids hid eggs for us. The grown ups where in for a suprise though!~ The eggs we hunted had numbers inside and you won a lottery ticket for that amount! How cool is that...=) Anyway, I got alot of pictures so we will get to that.
